Changes have been made to the anti-rootkit module to improve the routines of the Dr.Web Process Heuristic behaviour analyser.
The update also eliminates an issue with the self-protection module on 64-bit versions of Windows that could lead to the abnormal termination of a program whose executable has been compressed with the Themida protector.
Also resolved was a firewall issue that could cause a critical error under Windows XP SP2 during intense web-surfing.
The installer module upgrade allows the Dr.Web Net Filtering Service to be added onto the Windows Firewall exceptions list—this is necessary to maintain an active FTP connection.
Due to the fact that Dr.Web licenses that do not include technical support are now available in some countries, corresponding changes were made to the text of the license agreement.
Corresponding adjustments have also been made to SpIDer Agent.
In addition, the products now support Chinese Simplified.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
