Components in Dr.Web 9.0 products for Windows updated

November 25, 2013

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the SpIDer Agent component (9.0.3.201311200), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (9.0.6.201311150), Dr.Web Scanning Engine (9.0.6.201311080), Dr.Web Control Service (9.0.4.11081) and Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (9.0.1.201311190) in the products Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 9.0.

The update resolves the SpIDer Agent issue involving the failure to save user-defined Dr.Web window settings after a system restart as well as a similar problem involving scanner settings.

Changes in the anti-rootkit module and control service have improved the operation of the Dr.Web Process Heuristic analyser.

The products now contain help in German and Ukrainian.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
