Dr.Web AV-Desk 5.0 has been updated

Doctor Web — the leader on the Russian anti-virus service market — announced updating of Dr.Web AV-Desk 5.0. The update provides fixes and improvements aiming to ensure even more reliable anti-virus protection for numerous subscribers to the Dr.Web anti-virus service.
Above all the update improves server functionality related to usage of the XML API for its better integration with billing systems.
The update also provides several fixes and improvements:
- Improved upgrading procedure for updating from 4.44 to 5.00 when MS SQL is used
- Optimized interaction with the Oracle database
- An ordinary user as well as a system administrator can now enable the mobile mode
- A new feature allowing users to disable scan start/finish and reboot notifications
- Italian language support
The update aims to increase popularity of Dr.Web AV-Desk among service providers and make the Dr.web anti-virus service even more attractive user-friendly.
