Components in Dr.Web 9.0 products for Windows updated

October 22, 2013

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Updater (9.0.1.10143), Dr.Web SelfPROtect (9.00.02.10100), Dr.Web Net Filtering Service (9.0. 3.10161), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (9.0.4.201310210) and configuration scripts in version 9.0 of the products Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web anti-virus for Windows.. The update delivers fixes of the following defects:

An update module issue involving file paths containing Cyrillic characters.

A self-protection module error that might occur during interaction with Spoon Studio.

A Dr.Web Net Filtering Service defect that could show itself during network scan with Brother MFCs.

An anti-rootkit issue that might corrupt data in the memory.

An issue involving the deletion of the SpIDer Guard exceptions list (while the option to keep the settings was enabled) upon removal of Dr.Web.

The update will be performed automatically, however, a system reboot will be required.
