The most important upgrades are described below.
The new server version allows group administrator accounts with restricted permissions to be created; this means that an administrator with greater levels of access can prevent administrators from creating or deleting stations, changing a station’s subscription package, altering when a subscription is to be stopped or restarted, as well as from tampering with other settings Administrators can also create groups for other group administrator accounts. The Internet service now supports Windows Server 2012. In addition, new subscription groups—Dr.Web Free and Dr.Web Mobile—have been introduced for customers who use mobile devices in their work.
Dr.Web AV-Desk Proxy supports file caching during installation which significantly saves traffic when the agent software is installed.
An agent software upgrade adds new features and interface tweaks.
Providers should consult Doctor Web specialists in order to upgrade their Internet service. The Dr.Web Anti-virus service software will be updated automatically.
