Dr.Web 8.0 for Android updated

June 24, 2013

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated its product Dr.Web 8.0 for Android, which is available for downloading from www.drweb.com.

The update resolves the issue when the program terminated abnormally while updating virus databases, if the option to use the centralized protection server was enabled but no connection to the server was established.

In order to update via Doctor Web site, you need to download a new distribution file. If the option “New application version” is enabled, a new version notification will be displayed when updating the virus databases. You can start the download directly from this dialogue box.
