Update of Dr.Web GUI Scanner released

The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web updated Dr.Web GUI Scanner included in Dr.Web anti-virus 5.0 for Windows and Dr.Web Security Space.

Dr.Web GUI Scanner is used to scan system memory and files stored on hard drives.

Features and improvements provided with the update:

  • Using the improved anti-rootkit module that detects and neutralizes the new version of BackDoor.MaosBoot;
  • Fixing the help language error;
  • Fixing errors related to operation of the scanner in the safe mode.

The update is available for automatic download on servers of Doctor Web.
