Update of Dr.Web 5.0 for Windows Mobile released

The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web updated Dr.Web 5.0 for Windows Mobile designed to protect pocket PCs and communicators from viruses.

Dr.Web 5.0 for Windows Mobile scans the device memory and available memory cards. If a malicious object is detected, a user can choose a desired action (delete/ignore/move to the quarantine).

The update provides the following improvements and additional features:

  • support of screen resolution higher than 640x480;
  • scrollbar autodisplay for long messages in the application window;
  • retrieval of updates;
  • German support.
