Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine 7.0 updated

October 18, 2012

Doctor Web—the Russian anti-virus vendor—has updated its Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine incorporated into single-user Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Security Space 6.0 and 7.0, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, Dr.Web AV-Desk, Dr.Web CureIt! and Dr.Web CureNet! as well as Dr.Web LiveCD/LiveUSB, to version 7.0.4.

The update resolves the issue when the Virus-Finding Engine process might terminate abnormally upon checking pst-files, as well as a similar issue of the Dr.Web process under Novell NetWare that could arise when a large PDF-file was being scanned.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
