Dr.Web products for Unix updated

October 1, 2012

Doctor Web updated its Dr.Web for Linux, Dr.Web for Unix file servers, Dr.Web for Internet gateways Unix and Dr.Web for Novell Storage Services 6.0.2. This update incorporates fixes for known errors and improves reliability and stability of the products.

An error that occurred when Dr.Web anti-virus for Linux ran in the centralised protection mode has been fixed.

An error that occurred in operation of Dr.Web for Unix file servers upon collecting statistics has also been fixed and the product's issue related to parsing configuration files has been resolved.

The update also introduces minor web-interface tweaks for Dr.Web for Internet gateways Unix.

For Dr.Web for Novell Storage Services improvements have been done to routines for interaction between the Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite Control Center and the agent. An issue that could occur upon neutralizing a threat has been resolved.

To update a product installed from a repository, use the appropriate procedure in your OS. If you installed Dr.Web using a universal package, download the updated distribution and reinstall the application.
