Doctor Web presents the beta-version of Dr.Web for Kerio WinRoute

Dr.Web for Kerio WinRoute is a new solution for anti-virus scan of traffic developed by Doctor Web. The program can be used by home users and companies of different size and fields of activity.

Integration of Dr.Web for Kerio WinRoute with the Kerio Winroute Firewall 6 ensures reliable anti-virus protection of HTTP, FTP, SMTP and POP3 traffic and traffic of Kerio Clientless SSL VPN. Cutting edge Dr.Web technologies including its heuristic analyzer and Origins Tracing provide in-depth scan of suspicious files, e-mail attachments and infected archives, monitoring of behaviour of applications and detection of various malicious objects that endanger operation of the network and impose a threat to informational security of users.

Automatic updating of virus databases allows the anti-virus to detect latest viruses – virus signatures, information about properties and behaviour of viruses is updated as soon as a new threat is analyzed by virus analysts of Doctor Web.

High usability and simplicity were among top priorities during development of the anti-virus product. Eve an inexperienced system administrator can configure Dr.Web for Kerio WiinRoute using the administration console of Kerio WinRoute Firewall.

It should also be noted that as other Dr.Web products Dr.Web for Kerio WinRoute also has low system requirements and occupies as little as 30 MB of disk space.
