Dr.Web for Android updated to version 6.01.8

April 9, 2012

Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web anti-virus for Android to version 6.01.8. The update delivers several interface tweaks, a new feature that allows the anti-virus configuration to be exported, and Polish language support. It also improves the file monitor's stability.

Dr.Web for Android 6.01.8 enables users to save the program's parameters from the Settings window into a file and, if necessary, import saved settings (e.g. after reinstalling the anti-virus). The updated version supports the Polish language and has stability of the file monitor improved. Minor changes have been made to the application's interface for devices running Android 3.0 and above.

Dr.Web for Android 6.01.8 can be downloaded from the official Doctor Web site or Google Play. Users who have downloaded the package from www.drweb.com need to reinstall Dr.Web for Android to update the previously installed version of the anti-virus. When downloaded from Google Play, the anti-virus will be updated automatically.
