Doctor Web, a Russian developer of IT security software, has updated its Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine and Dr.Web AV-Desk 6.0 virus databases. The engine version 7.0 will boost scan speed, ensure the flexible use of computing resources, and increase the reliability of protection against new threats in HTML, JavaScript and PDF.
Note that on December 12, the new engine was released for single-user Dr.Web for Windows products. Today, it has become available to subscribers of the Dr.Web Anti-virus service.
The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
