The deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk lets Intertelecom subscribers use the Dr.Web Anti-virus as a service: they can choose how long they want to subscribe to the service, renew their subscriptions automatically, and decide for themselves how much they want to spend on anti-virus security.
"For the first time, the Dr.Web Anti-virus service is being introduced as part of a Ukrainian mobile operator’s services. We are glad to be working with an anti-virus software market leader, and we are confident that the work Doctor Web is doing to ensure the safety and security of individuals while on the Internet will be in demand among our subscribers. Thanks to this joint project, we are starting to provide the most secure 3G Internet in Ukraine. By introducing the Dr.Web Anti-virus service, Intertelecom has gained a number of advantages in terms of ensuring the environmental safety of its subscribers. And by introducing this additional service, we can consolidate one of our most significant advantages on the Ukrainian mobile communications market which is to provide safe Internet access, both in terms of the environmental safety and the content management. I should also add that we are providing the Dr.Web Anti-virus service both to subscribers of ISPs and voice services”, noted Vladislav Shulga, Intertelecom Marketing and Sales Director.
"With the widespread penetration of the Internet, the issue of protecting private information and confidential data comes to the forefront quickly. And this is not just the case for the commercial sector and governmental agencies but for ordinary users as well. Thanks to the deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk, Intertelecom customers are able to protect their computers right from home and without wasting time looking for an anti-virus", says Alexander Pushkar, Head of Doctor Web’s Anti-virus Services Division. "The Dr.Web Anti-Virus service is very popular and does not need any additional recommendations."
When you use anti-virus software, you immediately resolve a number of critical issues; you prevent your PC from being infected with malware, keep your personal data private, make your web surfing secure, and—with Parental Control—ensure the safety of your children.
Intertelecom customers can choose from three subscription packages based on the Dr.Web Anti-virus service: Dr.Web Classic (anti-virus + firewall), Dr.Web Standard (anti-virus + anti-spam + firewall), and Dr.Web Premium (comprehensive protection).
Customers can subscribe to and manage the service through the automated subscriber support service area in the "Anti-virus protection" section.
