Personal Dr.Web 7.0 products for Windows updated

November 14, 2011

Doctor Web has updated single-user Dr.Web products for Windows — Dr.Web Anti-virus 7.0 and Dr.Web Security Space 7.0. The update fixes issues in the Dr.Web firewall, Scanning Engine, Net filtering service and Control Service.

The update fixes an error when demo keys could be considered expired earlier than defined previously. If you are using a demo-license for Dr.Web 7.0, you need to obtain another demo-key via the License Manager. In order to compensate for inconveniences the newly acquired key file will give users an entire month to try all features of Dr.Web products

Besides, an issue that made the firewall incompatible with GSM modems provided by the Russian mobile carrier Megafon has been resolved.

The update will be automatically downloaded by the anti-viruses, but applying it will require a system reboot.
