Thanks to the inclusion of the SpIDer Guard G3 file monitor in the Dr.Web AV-Desk software, the operation of anti-virus agents is now fully supported on 64-bit versions of OS Windows (including those on servers). However, Windows NT4/9x/ME for agents are no longer supported
All of the Dr.Web Anti-virus service subscription packages feature a new component, a firewall, which allows users to monitor and filter all incoming and outgoing Internet traffic at both the application and packet level. The Dr.Web for MS Outlook module, which checks e-mail transmitted by the Microsoft e-mail program, is also available to subscribers.
Nevertheless, the monthly subscription fee, as recommended by Doctor Web, has remained the same: Dr.Web Classic — €1.3, Dr.Web Standard — €1.5, Dr.Web Premium — €1.65, and Dr.Web Premium Server — €10.
An important innovation for subscribers, whose providers have the Subscription Control Center installed, has been the introduction of additional payment options: it is now possible to refill balances using various e-payment systems.
A series of improvements have been made to security administration tools. The ease of anti-virus network management has been significantly improved by adding a new centralized security configuration and flexible Dr.Web Anti-virus service subscription charging options.
For more details on what's new in Dr.Web AV-Desk 6.0, please refer to the release notes.
Important! Providers must consult Dr.Web experts to update their Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service to version 6.0. Those not using Dr.Web AV-Desk can make a request to access the service demo.
