Components of Dr.Web 6.0 Winidows products for home and business updated

April 20, 2011

Doctor Web announced the release of the updated firewall, agent and HTTP-monitor incorporated in Dr.Web personal and server solutions of the 6.00 series for Windows. Improvements increase the usability of products and resolve known issues.

An issue that caused a critical error when the firewall used the list of trusted applications has been resolved in personal software products—Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Security Space included into the Dr.Web Home Security Suite— and the business product Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite (Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite group).

Dr.Web Home Security Suite products and Dr.Web Server Security Suite now display a license serial number in the License Manager.

The HTTP-monitor has been updated in all the products: now it enables users to create white lists of sites that should not be blocked.

In addition, language resources have been updated.

The update will be automatically downloaded by the anti-viruses but applying the update will require a system reboot.
