Doctor Web is releasing version 1.1.2.202604160 of the antispam component in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web by subscription. The update will become available on July 20, 2026.

The component examines mail traffic in real time and analyses message headers, bodies, hyperlinks, and attachments. The antispam is optimised to have zero impact on email client performance.

The latest version boasts improved spam detection and link parsing and incorporates a number of other minor upgrades and adjustments. A previous major update enhanced the detection and filtering of unsolicited messages.

Important note for Windows XP users. If you have enabled the option to only update the virus databases, the Dr.Web plugin for Microsoft Outlook won't work properly and will flag all incoming emails as spam. How to check this: open the application’s settings, select "Update", then click "Advanced settings" and go to the component updating section.

We recommend that you upgrade to a later Windows version, or enable updating for all application components rather than just the virus databases.
