Beginning January 30, 2024, support for Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite version 12 was reduced. This means that the antivirus component updates for ESS version 12 can be discontinued at any time without additional notification, and the regular release of updates will continue only for the virus signature databases. Thus, once we stop releasing updates, this antivirus protection tool for workstations and servers will retain its functionality, but its level of protection against modern threats will gradually decrease due to component updates being terminated.
The upgrade process is carried out automatically via the Control Center. The user just needs to follow the steps described in these instructions.
The upgrade routine is as follows: first, the Control Center is updated, and then the components on end devices (workstations and servers) are automatically updated. If your servers are organised hierarchically or you use a cluster, your servers must be updated one at a time after you disable the hierarchical connection or cluster. After each server has been updated, you need to restore the hierarchical links (or cluster).
We also remind you that beginning January 30, 2026, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite version 12 will be supported at a basic level ꟷ this means that antivirus component updates will stop being released for it no later than this date. Do not expose your equipment to virus infections; upgrade your Dr.Web Control Center to version 13.
