The latest Dr.Web CureIt! update addresses issues affecting the utility's ability to detect threats that may grant attackers unauthorized system access.

Doctor Web continues to improve Dr.Web CureIt! This anti-virus scanner is widely appreciated by Windows users as an indispensable tool for emergency malware detection and removal on PCs and servers. The current application's build includes an updated trusted certificates list and incorporates fixes for identified threat-detection problems that could affect certain system configurations.

Dr.Web CureIt! is used at times of urgency when an infected system needs to be cured. It does not replace a conventional anti-virus that provides constant real-time anti-malware protection. The utility can scan a computer that already has another developer’s anti-virus installed on it when it is suspected that the system has nonetheless been compromised.
