Now Dr.Web uses the TCC database to verify that it has full disk access. If Dr.Web components don't have disk access permissions after installation, a corresponding prompt is displayed. If no permissions are granted, the prompt will persist after a system restart.
If that happens, please do the following:
- Click on the “Allow access” button.
- In the Access Permissions Wizard, select “Open system settings”.
- Drag the Dr.Web icon from the permission wizard dialogue to the settings window.
access” option also appears in the “General” section of the application's settings. It can also be used to provide Dr.Web with the required permissions in the way indicated by the instructions above. The option button becomes unavailable once the required permissions have been granted.
Please note that the disk access permissions interface is currently available only in the English and Russian languages. Other UI translations will be provided with the next update.
In addition to the new permissions mechanism, the latest Dr.Web release also incorporates minor UI tweaks.
To upgrade Dr.Web Security Space for macOS to version 12.6.5, download the new distribution file and install the application on your Mac.
