Anti-rootkit module updated in Dr.Web 12.0 products for Windows

August 1, 2022

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (12.6.20.202206241) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 and Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers. The update eliminates known software issues.

Issues resolved:

  • A defect causing the application Veeam Backup & Replication to be blocked while a backup was being created;
  • A compatibility issue between the Docker application and Dr.Web that occurred on machines running Windows Server Core.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
