Minor spam filtering upgrades in Dr.Web 12.0 for Microsoft Exchange

May 19, 2022

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web 12.0 for Microsoft Exchange. The modules MS Exchange Plugin Bins (12.0.12.04040) and MS Plugin Bins Web-Interface (12.0.14.04040) have been made current.

Now Cyrillic domain names and email addresses can be added onto the spam filtering exceptions list.

The updated distribution file is available on Doctor Web's site.

Also note that Dr.Web for Microsoft Exchange is part of the email-filtering software suite—Dr.Web Mail Security Suite. Since mail traffic remains the primary medium employed by attackers to transmit malicious programs and unsolicited messages across networks, Dr.Web anti-viruses filter out spam messages and prevent trojans from sneaking into corporate infrastructures. They also ensure that correspondence is received more quickly and that previously unknown malware is removed from user mailboxes.
