Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Scanning Engine (12.6.8.202112260) and Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (12.6.15.202201170) in the Dr.Web CureIt! utility. The update delivers minor tweaks and upgrades.
Thanks to the anti-rootkit module’s new additional digital signature validation routine, the utility can now more effectively neutralise trojans disguised as trusted applications.
The trusted applications database has also been updated.
