Anti-virus security enhanced in Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and 13.0, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.`s subscription-based Dr.Web Anti-virus software

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (12.6.15.202201170), Dr.Web Scanning Engine (12.6.8.202112260) and the Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module (12.06.09.02030) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, and Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and 13.0, and also in Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0’s subscription-based Dr.Web Anti-virus software.The update resolves known software issues and delivers upgrades, boosting the applications’ anti-virus security capabilities.
Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API:
Enhanced routines for encryption ransomware behaviour analysis;
Improved Preventive Protection effectiveness;
Optimised memory usage when interacting with cloud-based services;
An issue that might cause Preventive Protection false positives involving Roblox has been resolved.
Changes made to the Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module:
The update addresses possible compatibility issues associated with web browsers requiring anti-exploit protection.
The update will be downloaded and installed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
