Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated its free Anti-virus Dr.Web Light for Android to version 12.0.2. Changes and fixes have been introduced to improve the scanner's performance.

Now the application displays an access permission prompt for all files so that devices powered by newer Android versions are scanned and protected.

Furthermore, an issue preventing the contents of certain directories from being displayed in the custom scan file browsing dialogue has been resolved.

Anti-virus Dr.Web Light for Android will be updated to the new version automatically. If automatic updates are disabled on your device, you need to go to Google Play, choose Anti-virus Dr.Web Light on the application list, and tap "Update".
