Anti-virus Dr.Web Light for Android updated to version 12.0.1

September 30, 2021

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated its free Anti-virus Dr.Web Light for Android. Version 12.0.1 boasts improved usability and has had its identified software issues resolved.

The update makes adjustments to the application's anti-virus scan prompts.

It also eliminates a defect preventing a memory card’s contents from being displayed during custom scans under Android 11 and introduces other minor tweaks, including the application's updated icon.

Anti-virus Dr.Web Light for Android will be updated to the new version automatically. If automatic updates are disabled on your device, you need to go to Google Play, choose Dr.Web Light on the application list, and click "Update".

Dr.Web for Android has scored over 140 million downloads on Google Play alone! Every month, our malware researchers discover a multitude of malicious applications, add thousands of websites to the non-recommended list, analyse millions of files and links, and support our customers 24/7.
