The self-protection module Dr.Web Protection for Windows (12.06.04.09070) in version 12 of the corporate and home anti-virus products and in Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0 has been updated to enhance product security.
Furthermore, changes have been introduced to the Dr.Web Updater update module (12.0.36.09020):
- An issue causing incorrect information about running protection components to be displayed has been addressed. Corresponding adjustments have been made to the configuration script Lua-script for main (12.10.12.09010);
- An issue that could cause the module to terminate abnormally has been resolved;
- To keep users well informed about the module's operation, an Error 2 message is now displayed if an update mirror directory is unavailable;
- Minor tweaks have also been introduced.
In addition, the module Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (12.0.17.08271) has been updated in Versions 11.5 and 12.0 of Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers as well as in Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. Now the module uses OpenSSL 1.1.11, which contributes to an overall security boost in Dr.Web software’s operation.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
