Specifically, improvements have been made to the Dr.Web Updater module (12.0.34.08300) to improve application security.
Furthermore, the module has had the following software issues resolved:
- A defect preventing Dr.Web AV-Desk Agent 10.1 from upgrading to version 13 on PCs whose operating systems do not support SHA-256;
- An issue disrupting Dr.Web Control Service’s operation during system shutdowns while the updating module was still running;
- An issue preventing Dr.Web from receiving updates over the anti-virus network if a computer’s name contained ideograms;
Adjustments have also been made to logging routines for the configuration script Lua-script for spider-agent (12.10.0.07300).
The update delivers minor tweaks and upgrades and will be downloaded and installed automatically.
