Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated version 12 of its Dr.Web plugin for Microsoft Exchange, which protects corporate networks and the information within them from threats carried by email messages. This update delivers upgrades requested by users and brings the product’s documentation up to date.

Specifically, irrelevant Spam Details information no longer appears in the Dr.Web CMS console’s logs.

Furthermore, additional information has been added to the administrator guide’s Anti-spam section. The guide now also notifies users that an OS update providing SHA-256 support must be installed in the system.

Note that in order for the Dr.Web software to operate correctly under Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft security updates providing SHA-256 support must be installed in these systems. For additional information, please refer to this guide.

You can download the updated distribution file from Doctor Web's site..
