As Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web continues to improve its anti-virus software, it reports that a number of software components have been updated in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. The update increases the protection’s reliability and helps product operational issues to be avoided.

All the products have had Lua-script for main (12.10.10.06111) updated to ensure that Dr.Web for MS Exchange Server can work properly after Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers is removed from the same server machine. Thanks to the update, spam and mail attachment filtering can continue uninterrupted.

Furthermore, the configuration script Lua-script for drwbase (12.10.0.04290) is now used in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0, and Lua-script for av-engine (12.10.0.04290) has been updated; corrections have been made to these applications so that issues can be avoided during software updates. To accomplish this, the drwbase.db file is now made available as a separate software component. Corresponding changes have been made in products.xml for standalone (12.0.4.06030) and products.xml for Dr.Web AV-Desk (13.0.2.04290). The email templates are now also organised as a single software component. Lua-script for email-templates (12.10.2.05140) has been updated in Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0 to address an issue preventing the Dr.Web Agent software from being installed if the repository could only provide email templates for certain languages (rather than for all the languages supported). This script has also been added to Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 and Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers.

Dr.Web AVD Agent for Windows setup (13.0.4.07120) has been updated in Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0 to improve the software’s security.

Yet another new component—Lua-script for parental-control (12.10.0.04290)—has been introduced in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0 also now makes use of the ES Update Helper (1.0.0.03310) component, which has already been utilised in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0.

The update also delivers minor tweaks for a number of other components, including: Dr.Web Control Service (12.11.1.06280) in all the products listed, Dr.Web ES Service (12.11.1.06281) in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0, and Lua-script for dws-parental-control (12.10.0.05070) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0.

The update delivers minor tweaks and upgrades and will be downloaded and installed automatically.
