About new threats on Google Play—in Doctor Web's June 2021 mobile malware activity review

July 9, 2021

Doctor Web presents its June 2021 mobile malware activity overview. Last month, trojan applications capable of executing arbitrary code, downloading other software, and displaying ads were among the most active threats again. With that, a large number of malware was found on Google Play. Stealer trojans hijacking Facebook account logins and passwords, malicious apps subscribing users to premium mobile services, and various fake apps downloading fraudulent sites were among the malware. Read more about these and other events in our June review.
