Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module (12.06.01.05060) in Dr.Web Security Space 11.5 and 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.5 and 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.5 and 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 11.0 and 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.1 and 13.0. Furthermore, Dr.Web Scanning Engine (12.6.3.202104090) and Dr.Web Firewall for Windows (12.05.04.04150) have been made current in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0; In addition, Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (12.6.5.202104230) has been updated in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. The update resolves known software issues and delivers upgrades.
Changes made to Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module:
A Shadow Stack issue affecting systems using latest gen CPUs has been resolved.
Changes made to Dr.Web Scanning Engine:
The module's routines have been optimised;
The security of the applications has been improved.
Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API:
The module's stability has been improved;
Certain heuristic analysis options can now be toggled on and off;
Dr.Web Data Loss Prevention and the FIX32 application are now more compatible;
The security of the applications has been improved.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
