Components updated in Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated SpIDer Agent for Windows (12.10.4.03301), Dr.Web Scanner SE (12.10.4.03301), the configuration script Lua-script main (12.5.8.02260), and also some UI texts in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. Furthermore, Dr.Web Control Service (12.10.4.02170) has been updated in Dr.Web 12.0 products for Windows. The update resolves known software issues and delivers upgrades.

Changes made to SpIDer Agent for Windows:

  • Module stability has been improved;
  • Multiple UI tweaks have been introduced;
  • SOCKS support has been added;
  • Adjustments have been made to improve the agent's security.

Changes made to Dr.Web Scanner SE:

  • The UI’s appearance has been improved for high-contrast themes;
  • Minor UI defects have been corrected;
  • Multiple tweaks have been introduced to improve the overall performance of the scanner;
  • Issues occurring when information about identified threats was being exported have been addressed;
  • Adjustments have been made to improve the component's security.

Changes made to Lua-script main:

  • Dr.Web Updater routines have been optimised;
  • An issue involving temporary files created while virus databases were being updated has been resolved.

Changes made to the Dr.Web Control Service:

  • Adjustments have been made to improve the component's security.

Some UI texts in certain languages have been updated.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
