Dr.Web AV-Desk in the Ukraine — another step towards information security

December 14, 2010

Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service keeps on gaining popularity in the Ukraine — Stels ISP LLC, the general-purpose telecoms operator, announced the launch of the Dr.Web Anti-virus service to its clients. Thanks to this deployment, the number of protected computers and notebooks in the Ukraine will increase — now with Donetsk and Makeevka Internet users.

The Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service deployment allowed Stels to offer its customers the Dr.Web Anti-virus service at a minimal price. The required anti-virus protection is already included in the Dr.Web Classic pricing package; the Dr.Web Standard increases the security with the anti-spam feature, and the Dr.Web Premium ensures an additional protection for subscribers by means of web anti-virus and Parental control module. With the option to subscribe to one of the pricing packages depending on their needs, the subscribers will be able to plan their expenditures on security and not to overpay for functions they do not believe useful.

Thanks to Dr.Web AV-Desk, Stels not only managed to broaden the range of services it provides and effectively solve network anti-virus protection issue but also released its subscribers from the problem related to malicious programs effects. The service is renewed and anti-virus modules and signature databases are updated automatically. That is why, having subscribed to the service, a user can forget about viruses per se.

Considering the above, the major priority in our work is to constantly broaden the range of services we provide and to permanently increase their quality. Therefore, the Dr.Web Anti-virus service deployment has become a logical step of us. There is a number of factors that had us make our choice. Firstly, Dr.Web is rightfully considered an industry pioneer, the fact that implies a great company’s experience and, as a result, the quality and efficiency of the solutions offered. Secondly, Dr.Web features an attractive pricing policy our users interested in such a service cannot help enjoying”, said Alexander Yushin, Stels ISP LLC Chief Development Officer.
