Components updated in Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.1

September 21, 2020

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API module (12.5.15.202009170) and the Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK module (12.0.10.09030) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 and Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers. Furthermore, Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API has been updated in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0, and Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK has been upgraded in Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.1. The update resolves known issues and delivers minor upgrades.

Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API:

  • An issue that might cause a “Sharing violation” error to occur when files were being created in a shared directory has been resolved;
  • Adjustments have been made to improve Dr.Web's integration with Windows 10.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
