A two-fold increase in malware activity and other events of June 2020
July 21, 2020
Doctor Web presents its June 2020 overview of malware activity. The past month showed more than a two-fold increase in malware activity compared to May. According to statistics, adware and malware installers remained among the most active threats. Email traffic was still dominated by programs that exploit vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office utilities, as well by malicious HTML documents and a multi-module banking trojan. The statistics revealed a minor decline in the number of user requests to decrypt files affected by encoders. Read more about these and other events in our June review.
