Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has unveiled Dr.Web 12.0.0 for macOS. The latest version introduces a number of new features and upgrades, which include a redesigned UI and the firewall component.

Other improvements

  • Proxy-server settings can now be specified for virus database updates.
  • Express scans now start faster.

Thanks to thorough performance optimisation, the application boasts even lower CPU and memory usage. Furthermore, the new version has eliminated an issue that prevented certain Apple applications from working properly when the option to scan TLS traffic was enabled.
