Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Security Space for Android to version 12.6.4. The update delivers feature upgrades and fixes of known defects.

Changes made to Dr.Web Security Space for Android:

  • A Call and SMS Filter issue causing calls from contact list numbers to be blocked has been resolved;
  • The application filter (available in centralised protection mode) now works with system apps;
  • Also resolved was a virus database updating problem that could occur if the application was running in centralised protection mode.
  • Furthermore, an Anti-theft error causing the alarm sound to play continuously after multiple SMS commands had been received has been fixed.

If you downloaded the Dr.Web application from Google Play, the updates will be downloaded and installed automatically. If you’ve disabled automatic updating on your device, go to Google Play, select the Dr.Web Security Space or Dr.Web Security Space Life icon in the application list, and tap "Update”.

To update via the Doctor Web site, you need to download a new distribution file.
