Self-protection module updated in Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows

June 18, 2020

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Protection for Windows module (12.05.05.06150) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, and Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows Servers. The update ensures that all the features work properly, following the release of Windows 10, version 2004.

Specifically, adjustments have been made to the self-protection module to restore application access control to microphones on PCs running Windows 10, version 2004 (20H1).

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
