Components updated in Dr.Web 12.0

May 25, 2020

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Scanning Engine (12.5.3.202005120) and the Dr.Web Updater (12.0.22.04220) module in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0, Dr.Web 12.0 for MS Exchange and in Dr.Web 12.0 for IBM Lotus Domino. Furthermore, Lua-script for antispam (12.5.6.04290) has been updated in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0. The update delivers minor upgrades and fixes of known defects.

Fixed in Dr.Web Scanning Engine:

  • An issue that prevented quarantined items from being displayed if the USB media storing them was reconnected to a computer.

Fixed in Dr.Web Updater:

  • Now the correct OS information is written into a log on computers running Windows 10 Home.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
