Dr.Web account unlock service updated

April 7, 2020

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the unlock code service for Dr.Web online accounts. The update resolves known software issues and delivers some UI tweaks.

Changes made to the service:

  • Now, when the option to assist a friend is re-enabled, no push-notifications are sent to the user from people who have previously been added to the friend list.
  • A registration issue involving email addresses containing upper-case characters has been resolved.
  • Automatic email dispatching routines are now more reliable.
  • Minor UI tweaks have been introduced.
