Doctor Web presents its 2019 malware overview

February 11, 2020

Doctor Web presents its annual overview of malware activity for 2019. Last year, PC and mobile device users faced new malware, online fraud, and cyber-spying.

Trojan miners covertly mining cryptocurrencies on users’ computers became a serious threat. Users were also attacked by bankers, spyware, and numerous trojan downloaders that downloaded malicious and unwanted applications. Owners of Android mobile devices did not go unnoticed either; the attackers actively distributed malicious applications on Google Play. New threats were also discovered for macOS. Read about these and other events in the final review of malware activity on our website over the past year.
