Dr.Web Link Checker updated to version 3.9.15

January 18, 2019

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Link Checker browser plugin to version 3.9.15. The update resolves known software issues.

Dr.Web Link Checker updates:

  • The plugin is now fully compatible with the current versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera.
  • Links in social media can now be checked in Opera and Chrome in incognito mode.
  • The “incorrect parameters” error message no longer appears when links are being checked on a search results page.
  • Webpages now look and feel normal after the plugin is disabled.
  • A conflict no longer exists between manual block mode and ad display exceptions.
  • A page refresh prompt in a different browser tab now appears if content is blocked manually in another tab.
  • Text is now displayed in the Dr.Web Link Checker UI if the preferred browser language wasn't among the plugin's supported languages.
  • The update also makes minor adjustments to the UI texts.

To use the latest Dr.Web Link Checker, download it from the corresponding extensions catalogue (depending on the browser you use). If you already use Dr.Web Link Checker, it will be updated automatically.
