Doctor Web — the leader on the Russian anti-virus service market — announced introduction of a new delivery format for the Dr.Web anti-virus service by means of the RentSoft platform. The platform designed by the Rentsoft company allows providers to offer the Dr.Web anti-virus service to their customers without deploying Dr.Web AV-Desk.

The RentSoft platform provides management of subscription packages, user transactions and collection of fee and Internet show-cases for selecting and managing subscriptions. Therefore providers cooperating with Rentsoft get an opportunity to provide the service without making any effort – it takes three hours for the provider’s programmer to integrate its information system with the RentSoft platform.

Since September the Dr.Web anti-virus service is accessible over the RentSoft to users of five telecom providers from different cities in Russia. A customer can select one of service packages and the most convenient way to pay for it. Technical support and updating of virus databases are provided free of charge by Doctor Web.
