First update for Dr.Web for Android

Doctor Web announced the release of the updated Dr.Web for Android. Improvements have been done to the virus detection routines and interface to iimprove efficiency and usability of the anti-virus.

Improvements include fixing of the error when the anti-virus detected a virus repeatedly in the same file under Android 2.2.

Besides, changes have been done to the GUI. In particular, a link to Doctor Web’s site has been placed in the main window of Dr.Web for Android.

Dr.Web for Android will update itself automatically. However, if automatic updating is disabled, go to the Android Market, select Dr.Web for Android from the list of applications and click on the Update button.

In order to update via Doctor Web’s site you need to download a new distribution file.
