Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Control Service (11.5.6.07301), the Dr.Web Updater module (11.5.6.07190), Dr.Web Net Filter for Windows driver (11.1.9.07190), the amsi-client module (11.5.0.201807100), Lua-script for av-service (11.5.0.07030), Lua-script for dwprot (11.5.0.07160) and Lua-script for updater (11.5.0.07260) in a number of Dr.Web products. Also updated was the component Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows servers setup (11.5.0.06190) in Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers. The update makes the applications compatible with the soon-to-be-released Windows 10 RS5 OS and delivers fixes for known software issues.

Changes made to the Control Service in Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus, and Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

  • An issue resulting in multiple license-expiry notification entries being added to the log file has been resolved.

Changes made to Dr.Web Net Filter for Windows driver in Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus, and Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

  • Compatibility with Windows 10 RS5.

Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows servers setup in Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

  • The Dr.Web installer can now detect whether ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server, which is incompatible with Dr.Web, is present in the system before installation commences.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
