Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the module Dr.Web Device Guard for Windows (11.05.01.07050), the self-defence component Dr.Web Protection for Windows (11.05.02.06270), Dr.Web Firewall for Windows (11.5.3.06181), Dr.Web Firewall for Windows driver (11.01.12.07060), Dr.Web Net filtering Service (11.5.2.07090), SpIDer Agent for Windows (11.5.4.07020), Dr.Web Control Service (11.5.4.06152), Dr.Web Sysinfo (11.5.0.201806180), the Dr.Web Shell Extension module (11.5.0.05140), Dr.Web Updater (11.5.0.06131), Lua-script for updater (11.5.0.06090), and the UI texts in a number of Dr.Web products. The update delivers new features for Dr.Web Parental Control and other upgrades as well as fixes for known issues.

Changes made to Dr.Web Device Guard for Windows in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

• A problem that could cause a system crash (BSOD) has been resolved.

Changes made to Dr.Web Protection for Windows in Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus, and Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

• Performance-boosting enhancements.

Changes made to Dr.Web Firewall for Windows and Dr.Web Firewall for Windows driver in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus:

• The Firewall's rule automation routines for known applications have been readjusted.

Changes made to Dr.Web Net filtering Service in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus:

• An issue that increased the CPU load while Zona was being used to watch video streams has been resolved;
• The Parental Control now has a “crypto mining” category so that access can be blocked to certain sites.

Changes made to SpIDer Agent for Windows in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus:

• The new Parental Control category “Cryptocurrency mining pools” can be used to block access to unwanted sites;
• Users are notified that unused rules should be deleted when a large number of rules are being stored in the Firewall's settings.
• The option to create Firewall rules automatically is now called "Allow connections for trusted applications".

Changes made to Dr.Web Control Service in Dr.Web Security Space:

• The new Parental Control category “Cryptocurrency mining pools” has been introduced.

Changes made to Dr.Web Shell Extension in Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus, and Dr.Web for Windows Servers:

• A new menu item has been added to the context menu.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
