Components updated in Dr.Web KATANA 1.0

June 28, 2018

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (11.5.2.201806181), the Dr.Web Updater module (11.5.0.04180), the component Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (11.5.0.05170), Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module (11.05.00.04250), the module Dr.Web Protection for Windows (11.05.01.06020) and Dr.Web Control Service (11.1.9.06230) in Dr.Web KATANA 1.0. The update resolves known issues and delivers minor upgrades.

Changes made to the Anti-rootkit API:

  • Enhanced behaviour analysis for running processes (fewer Preventive Protection false positives).

Changes made to the updating module:

  • An infinite loop issue that could arise after code 407 (Proxy Authentication Required) was repeatedly returned by the Dr.Web updating server has been resolved.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
