Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web is pleased to announce the release of Dr.Web Light 11.1.0 for Android. The update makes the application compatible with Android 8.1 and earlier versions, and provides fixes for known defects.

Dr.Web Light 11.0 for Android should be used on devices running Android 4.0-4.3; the features found in version 11.1 are only available under Android 4.4 and later.

Specifically, an issue involving the scanner's abnormal termination during 7z archive scanning has been resolved. A number of GUI improvements have been made.

For users of Dr.Web Light for Android (versions 4.4 and later), the update to the new version will occur automatically. If automatic updates are disabled on your device, you need to go to Google Play, choose Dr.Web Light on the application list, and click "Update".
